“Interesting experience. There is no on-site staff, but the building is in excellent (restored) condition. You let yourself in with the door code and then you’re on your own. The on-site restaurant is not operating, so we drove a couple miles for dinner. We made breakfast from what was on site. Thankfully there was no noise from the railroad outside. We’ll be back.”

“This is an old hotel, and it has been around for a while. Therefore, it was not new and modern; which is no problem for me. It was quiet, most of the time. There was some passing traffic occasionally and I train whistle on a couple of occasions, but, for me, reasonable. As for shopping: there is a grocery store, a gas station, a pizza parlor all within walking distance as well as an attractive swimming area nearby. I got a good nights sleep, which is why I stayed there.”

“The rooms are clean and tidy. The bed is comfortable and the appliances are functioning well. Conveniently located next to a gasoline station and there's several options for food. ”

“Loved to shower only bathroom. It was great having a low rise shower bottom and a grab rail. The glass sliding door for the shower was spotless. Really enjoyed how the room was partially divided and felt more like an apartment rather that a hotel room. ”

“Beautiful historic building, restored and updated. Stylish lobby, happening bar scene (but unheard on room floors). Large stylish rooms. Easy walk to all downtown PDX atteactions. ”

“Updated, artsy rooms. Staff was wonderful. Onsite coffe shop was great. All amemities including rooftop restaurant were decently priced. Shower stayed hot and had perfect pressure. If you need it the A/C works great, also has a window that you can actually open for fresh air. All around i had a perfect stay.”

“I loved pretty much everything. It's absolutely perfect. I would love onsite parking, but the king room was everything I wanted. Clawfoot tub, sitting area, windows, really cool vibe. ”
